Collaboration

Collaborations in Lund - the Swedish hub for human rights

Besides the university, Lund is home to two major human rights institutes in Sweden which makes the city of Lund to a Swedish hub for human rights. The Human Rights Profile Area organizes events together with these institutes to foster collaborations and exchange among staff and members. Together we are creating a robust and dynamic environment for advancing human rights both locally and globally.

Lund has also the world’s first Museum of International Law (new tab) that exhibits objects and shares stories that communicate how international law affects the lives of ordinary human beings and makes abstract concepts such as human dignity, non-discrimination or freedom of expression more tangible and relatable for visitors.

Academic collaborations

The profile area connects scholars and themes both within Lund University and beyond that are not in everyday conversation, thus enabling novel insights and collaborations.
