What the profile area offers for its members

A calendar for human rights events at Lund University has been on my wish list for a long time. Thanks to the profile area and the new website I have a good overview of the activities, and it finally feels like we are a human rights community!

The overview of educational programmes and courses is beneficial for our students and shows the broad field of human right education at Lund University.

When applying for seed funding it can be helpful to browse the overview of profile area members to find suitable colleagues for a new project.

The profile are connects scholars and themes both within Lund University and beyond that are not in everyday conversation, thus enabling novel insights and collaborations. This autumn this has resulted among others in Professor Martti Koskenniemi's visit including both a public lecture and a doctoral Master Class which would not have been possible without the Profile Area's support (Miia Halme-Tuomisaari)
