International Conference on Human Rights in Higher Education, 2023
On October 19-20, 2023, Lund University’s Human Rights Profile Area, along with Uppsala University’s Department of Theology, the Swedish Institute for Human Rights, and the Raoul Wallenberg Institute, held a Conference on Human Rights in Higher Education in Lund.
This was the first time that educators and researchers in human rights from Swedish universities met with representatives from the Swedish Institute for Human Rights and the Raoul Wallenberg Institute to discuss human rights as a field of study in higher education. The goal was to promote it as a cross-disciplinary research area, both in Sweden and around the world.
