Human Rights Working Groups at Lund University
Working Groups area a new format to support researchers in the process of finding inter- and transdisciplinary partners for further collaborations within the field of Human Rights.
One goal of the Human Rights Profile Area is to foster inter- and transdisciplinary collaboration in Human Rights at Lund University. To pursue this goal, we will test the new funding initiative “Human Rights Working Groups” during 2025/2026.
A working group, consisting of interdisciplinary experts and practitioners, will receive 30 000 SEK for the spring semester 2026 to work on a specific human rights-related topic. The budget can be used e.g. for inviting guests, buying materials, study trips, and refreshments, etc. Predefined outcomes or methods are not needed in the application.
Working groups are open to all academic levels as well as for non-academics. There are no specific requirements for joining a working group, i.e. anyone is welcome to join. Each group has one leader (Profile Area members with a PhD) and a co-leader (also Profile Area member, but can be a PhD student) who apply for funding. Applications need to state at least 5 ordinary members (academic and non-academics) to start with.
Tipp: You can use the Profile Area member overview to find a co-applicant and members.
Please find more details in the call below (PDF, 0,5MB) and apply by 31 October 2025.
