Pre-defence seminar in Human Rights Studies with Emelie Lantz

Emelie Lantz is a PhD-student in Human Rights Studies and member of the Agenda 2030 Graduate School. In her dissertation project, she aims to understand what happens at the intersection between global norms and local practices, concentrating on the relationships that emerge within the organizational gap between the public and non-profit sectors. The dissertation has an empirical focus and follows several local cross-sector partnerships in Malmö. What role do civil society actors play in these partnerships? What opportunities do the partnerships provide for residents in the city to claim their rights? Discussant: Dahlia Mukhtar-Landgren.
